This 1987 Mazda RX-7 built by Mariah Motorsports is the rarest of its kind! This car is special because it was the very first Mariah Motorsports build and also the only stage 5 Mode 6 they ever built. Mariah Motorsports took 2 years to perfect this build, and the owner of the company worked a deal with Mazda to hold onto this first production car. The Motor was upgraded with a Garrett T-04 turbo, duel H.P. fuel injection with H.P secondaries, and HKS turbo timer EVC boost controller. Then an HSK PFC-FCON fuel computer and an HSK custom built intercooler was added with an HSK downpipe and a free flow cat-back exhaust. It was featured in magazines across the world with a top speed tested at 191.115 MPH. The interior was upgraded with Denon stereo, and every surface was covered in hand sewn Connolly leather and Wilton wool carpeting. Recaro seats and Momo wood steering wheel and a quick shift kit was added. The vehicle was held onto by the owner of Mariah Motorsports until 2014 when the current owner (an employee of Mariah Motorsports) tracked down the car and acquired it with stipulations to care for it and never sell it until the master builder passed away. The current owner holds this car special to his heart because he worked the assembly line and watched this car being hand built! The exterior of the car was built as you can see. The full body kit, and wing and aerodynamic masterpiece was hand crafted and built to compete with the motors ability to reach nearly 200 MPH
