Built from a Vintage Motorcars kit and extensively modified, powered by a 1915cc fuel-injected Type 1 engine producing roughly 130 wheel horsepower paired with a close-ratio side-shift 914 5-speed transaxle shifted through a Cable Shift shifter, the car features a fully reengineered steel tubular frame with cantilever rear suspension, Miata-based front control arms, adjustable coilovers, and a Porsche 911 steering rack, weighs just 1,500 lbs, it has competed successfully in hillclimbs and autocrosses, 5-gallon fuel cell with a slosh-prevention system.
The beautifully simple interior features a banjo-style steering wheel, green lettered gauges, recently retrimmed red seats, gray German square-weave carpet, lap belts, a height adjustable rearview mirror, fire extinguisher, and passenger grab handle.
