For 2014, Range Rover introduced in second generation of the Sport model. Slotting right under the large Range Rover in the lineup, it was meant for fans of the brand that wanted a more agile, engaging on-road approach from their Land Rover product - tighter dimensions, more rakish profile, but still capable in any scenario and any weather. To improve upon the last version of the model, they switched from a full unibody construction instead of using a ladder frame, resulting in a near 500-pound weight reduction, along with a more aerodynamic shape to aid in speed and efficiency.
