Supercharged 2018 Ford F-150 XLT ''SVT Lightning'' finished in Race Red with a Medium Gray interior. Notable factory equipment includes Equipment Group 301A, the Trailer Tow Package, and an electronic locking rear axle. Power comes from a Ford Performance 5.0-liter V8 long block, rated at approximately 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Additional modifications include a 2.9-liter Whipple Stage 2 supercharger, Whipple air intake, MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust (catalytic converters removed) and ECU tune. According to the dyno sheet, this F-150 now produces 614 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque as a result of its modifications. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Exterior and Interior upgrades include 22-inch Niche wheels, UnderCover bed tonneau cover, ''SVT'' tailgate and ''Lightning'' fender badges, Ford Raptor steering wheel, Leather seat inserts with ''Lightning'' embroidery and Leather center console lid with ''SVT'' embroidery. Ford gave the perennially popular F-150 a major overhaul for 2015. Again available in a mind-bogglingly vast selection of configurations, the truck relied on aluminum to shed up to 700 pounds over its predecessor, and it was offered with a longer list of tech and comfort features. Production ended in 2020.
